"Alive?", Lea echoed the disbelief of the others, but had no reason to doubt when the others confirmed it. There was more to see in this creepy place though, and he was beginning to suspect that they had a limited amount of time to see it in. So when Sentinel left the circle without incident, Lea followed suit, brought up short only briefly by the sensation of something invisible and gelatinous surrounding the circle. He was able to push through easily, though and stepped out into the cavern proper.
The tugging sensation in his chest, which at first had been barely noticeable, was gradually becoming harder to ignore. He was trying very hard not to speculate about what it might be, and to not think of the last time something had been ripped from his chest. 'It's not going to happen again,' he thought firmly, clutching one hand around the Wayfinder hanging around his neck. 'Not again. Not ever again.'
Though it did nothing to ease the sensation in his chest, clutching both the Wayfinder and his Keyblade did seem to bolster him emotionally, and he strode forward, toward the strange alter-like structure on the opposite side of the circle from the pile of not-dead bodies. A strange looking little girl... robot... person with bat-like features writhed in pain in the center of a pentagram, and something in Lea's chest tightened in a way that had nothing to do with the increasingly uncomfortable pulling sensation. That poor kid...
He stepped forward, intent on trying to cut the lines of dark energy that seemed to be binding her... only to spot someone much more familiar floating in a bubble of the stuff nearby. "Guys!", he called out. "It's Paian!"
