Fighting the New Order
Who: Those who are not part of this log or in other words, all those not kidnapped, the Guardians (those who aren't missing anyway), and your new lord and master, Galos.
What: A battle for Haven. What will you choose to do? Join the guy with the creepy magic, or fight him?
Where: East Sector, where Galos waits for his subjects to come bow before him.
When: Afternoon/Evening of November 1.
Warnings: Violence, fighting, evil surprises.
NOTES: For this log, each reply should be to the main post rather than any particular tag. This is to help keep things flowing as people will tag when able. This also means there will be no set posting order, though if you're expecting another's character to answer/react to something yours said/did, then be patient and give them a chance to respond.
In the East Sector, Galos waits. High above the ground, lounging at the top of the writhing coil of light-absorbing black substance. It constantly twists and moves - sometimes shapes form into the void almost looking like hands or faces. It's eerie to look at, and emanating from the column itself is a sense of dread, fear, and pain.
The closer one gets to the pillar, the stronger they'll feel that pressure, that urge to drop to their knees and just give up and surrender. It'll become less and less a physical sensation and more and more an emotional one. A heavy depression will settle over those approaching the pillar. Those gathered to fight will have to struggle to maintain their will to fight.
Anger will help. Righteous anger at facing yet another seeking to dominate and destroy. Having someone to fight beside will help too.
Those who had joined the First Forged in their journey to the Core had been given a pendant...this item will also help, and being beside one who carries such a pendent will help as well.
The first line of defense, whether the column is approached from the ground or the air, will be the forms that pull from the void of the pillar. The goop-covered shapes will put themselves between Galos and those coming in to attack. The satyr will sit upon his odd throne and laugh, the echo of it mocking those who have come to depose the new ruler.

He's not a great hand-to-hand fighter, and he's no sniper either, but he's brought out an array of devices, shields, and ranged weapons - both from the Warehouse and from his own personal stock of projects and inventions - that people are welcome to take and use. And you better believe that he'll be putting them to use himself as well!

But with his wing still iffy thanks to the repair issues- which he was certain now were connected to this mess as well- he had to save any potential flight capabilities he had until they were most needed. Because doubtless they would be, before this was over. "Least I'm not underground this time...", he grumble to himself as he did a last check on his arm weapons.
The thought made him aware of the talisman Solus and Nexus had given him, still tucked away safely in his cockpit storage compartment. He'd almost forgotten about it, but now it seemed to be radiating gentle warmth that spread through his whole frame, bolstering his resolve. He just hoped it would be enough to protect him again.

"Let's do this. Before it gets worse." He'll head forward...and pauses to look at Jadewing.
"Whatever it is you're carrying, don't lose it. It seems to have a positive affect on you."

The beings range in all sizes, from very small, like the size of a human child, to very large, such as the sizes of some of the larger Cybertronians. They have no distinctive features, no eyes, no mouths, noses, ears...and yet they seem drawn straight towards those who have come to take down their master.
They will go from a slow, deliberate walk to a sudden run, even their foot falls are silent against the ground. They are clearly here to kill.
Those who attack these figures will find them easy enough to cut down. A wound that would severely injure or kill a normal person will do the same to these, though losing limbs only seems to slow them a little. The goop that forms them will vanish, when they're "killed".
More will pull free form the column, advancing on those coming for Galos.

Besides, "this" has the one remaining teammate left to him. AND HE'S GETTING HIS BROTHER BACK NO MATTER WHAT SO BRING IT ON!
Deckard is pissed in ways he's been very few times in his life, and it's a struggle to keep his head clear enough to fight effectively. But the thought that Gunmax and the others who have been taken probably need him and the others out here at their best helps. So he finds a weapon in Wheeljack's arsenal that he feels comfortable wielding and wades into the fray with a cold vengeance, going through the goop monsters with both his weapon and outright hand-to-hand attacks.

Tha-BOOM!!!
Thundercracker centers his signature attack on Galos himself, aiming to surprise him with a sonic boom that will ideally disorient and break his concentration, if not knock him unconscious completely.
Or even kill him. Death would be a perfectly acceptable outcome. Traitors don't deserve to live.

Galos lets out a feral howl from his perch. "Don't you understand?! The power of Unicron is mine now! I have drained the life and power from the Chaos Bringer! I succeeded where you failed!
He yelps at the sonic boom, head spinning. The goop throne starts to come up around him, swallow him into it. Before it does so completely shakes himself and pulls back out of it, sitting atop of it now. He turns his attention to the skies, spears of goop shooting at anything in the air.

With a fierce stomp of her delicate heel, Elsa sends a crawling streak of ice towards her target; Galos.
Whatever lies in her way would either be frozen, or meet her powers head on.
Only the most observant would notice that the streak of ice branches out into whatever's nearby; a signal that she's not completely in control. No, her emotions would either get the best of her or they would hold her back, and she concluded after careful thought, she wasn't going to be held back. Anything that attempted to stifle or stomp her would be met with a wall of ice, her reach being far, but her attentiveness not fast enough to push away several enemies at once. Elsa keeps her distance for her own safety.
Any allies of hers may be wise not to stand between her or her enemy. Even wiser, to help her get even closer to Galos.
At his exclamation, she purses her lips into a stern, stern frown. She would succeed, or she would kill herself trying.

She will need to have help getting closer to Galos in order to reach him, but until then, Elsa's powers are contributing to the battle.

Jadewing had blasted his fair share of goop monsters as they came into range. All in all, it was easier than the Scraplet-things; much bigger targets, and just as easy to kill. He's even been hastening the ends of some of the ones Elsa had frozen, blasting or kicking them to shatter them before they could completely crumble. He found their shrieks oddly satisfying.
At Galos' yell, though, his anger flares again and whether or not their target can hear him over the sounds of battle, he yells in his general direction. "Are you a fraggin' moron, horn-head?! Do you really think that a universe-devouring cosmic entity that existed before time itself would be that easy to control?! If we don't kill you, It will!"

The goop things pull back, melting into each other and warping into larger beings; they are titans even among Cybertronians. There are only three of them, at least, and they will start to move.
They're slow, but they are advancing. The targets are those nearest the action...Jadewing...Elsa...Deckard...Thundercracker...the other Guardians. Galos stands behind them, something...odd about him, something off, like he's having troubles standing at all, or like his body is on strings and the puppet master is too distracted to make him dance.
"You cannot beat me." It's said quietly, and yet his voice will carry to all present.
RET-CONNING LIKE A BOSS!!! because shit, I goofed. OTL
Thundercracker had counted on his first attack being the most effective he could make it, because it was probably going to be the ONLY attack worth anything he'd make, at least from the air. This stupid jetpack was almost more hassle than it was worth, slower than he was by half and far more unwieldy. He couldn't dodge fast enough to avoid one of the spears of darkness shot his way. It took out the jetpack. He couldn't decide if that was a curse or a blessing, even as he plummeted and landed hard. It took him a long few moments to recover from that - he'd been knocked out and left rather damaged - but then the horde had coalesced into three colossal figures and were headed for his friends, and his trinemate. "OH NO YOU DON'T!" He should have gone for Galos, and part of him was yelling at himself to do so, but if just one of those massive fists came down and managed to catch Jadewing or any of the others . . . no, he had to find a way to stop those things.

Immobilize . . . that gives him an idea.
"Elsa! Can you freeze their legs? Stick them in place?"
Even if it doesn't halt them altogether, it might stop them long enough to buy the defenders time to figure out some new tactics.
haha whoops i can read.
"I need to get close to him! If I can get close enough---" she pauses, bringing up a wall of ice behind her that doesn't stop moving. It continues to form, slowly, slower than she anticipated.
"If I can get close, I can end this, right now." The snow stops forming, a cold giant emerging with a fierce roar. Marshmallow the second is nowhere near as big as his predecessor, but he's about the same in appearance. Elsa doesn't question why just yet, she's still focused on protecting her friends. Ultimately, her icy stare remains on Galos.
Marshmallow decides to help his momma; by helping Deckard out as well. Sending walls of ice shards and blowing cold cold wind at the goop monsters, he lends to immobilizing them. Marshmallow's powers are nowhere near Elsa's, but they help her catch up if only a little.

That is, assuming they didn't just take out the source of the problem. And the human with ice-powers- Elsa, that was her name- seemed to be trying to do just that. Jadewing spared a surprised glance as she apparently created some kind of ice creature. Or maybe it generated spontaneously from all this magically created ice and snow. Whatever the case, it seemed to be fighting on their side, so it didn't matter at the moment.
A quick assessment dictated his next course of action. The human was far more agile on the ground than he was, and stood a better chance of getting a clean shot at Galos. Sparing a bit of thruster power to assist, he makes a leap, landing between Elsa and the goop monsters.
"Get the horn-head," he called to her. "I'll cover you!" And he proceeded to suit actions to words, assisting in the attack on the goop monsters trying to draw their focus away from Elsa.
