Lea nodded, though, grin settling into a smaller, softer smile as she mentioned being in a hurry when creating some of the rooms. "I could sort of tell," he said after a moment. "It's nothing obvious, it's just... I dunno, it's more a feeling than it is anything visual. It's all beautiful, but something just felt a little... off about it in a way that's hard to pin down."
He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "And I really don't know a way of putting it that's not gonna make it sound bad," he said. "But... I could tell something about your state of mind when I looked at it."
He then blinked once, looking around the ballroom with a somewhat puzzled expression, as if seeing it for the first time. "Though now that I look again, it's not there anymore. So maybe it was just my imagination...?" Or possibly the palace had reshaped itself in tiny, imperceptible ways to reflect its creator's improved state of mind.
