I mean, what good is art if there's no emotion in it? If it can't make you feel something, you know?" A slight wry smirk touched his lips. "Though admittedly with you, it's a bit more... immediate than most."

"I'd be more worried about me in an argument than you, though," he said, becoming more serious again. "Least there's no worry about you accidentally burning the house down if you lose your temper. I mean, ice and snow can be melted, but once something been burned, it's gone for good."

He frowned thoughtfully. "That moment during our argument is the first time in years I've done magic without meaning to," he said. "I mean, when I first got my powers, seemed like I couldn't go three days without setting something on fire, but now..." He smirked slightly again.
