He had been looking for energon, yes. Probably why he was here, but now that he was here he was.... impressed. Very impressed, this place was massive. He picked through the items stored here, fascinated with the sheer array of things inside. Human movies and books were in here (things he was far too large to appreciate without defaulting to a holoform), technology he'd never been allowed to get his hands on, things he'd remembered working on personally.

He found a few monitors of his design around, and tucked a few away into his subspace. He wanted to drop a few in the energon lake and see if there was anything possibly living in there. He'd dive in himself but... well.

At the moment, he was completely caught up with a human TV. It was barely any bigger than a human gumball to him, and he was squinting at the tiny buttons on the front of it, trying to figure out how he could get it to work without actually breaking it.

Sam had seen (part of) a Cybertronian-sized shadow while walking down an aisle, and although it hadn’t been enough to give her pause, she had had to wonder: 'Is that Dirge’s?' Whether it was or wasn’t didn’t matter much, but she was still pleased to find someone other than the seeker upon emerging from the space between shelves, and her “Hello, you!” was cheerful for it.

“Got anything good up there?” Whatever it was the big bot had---and he (?) was big, even compared to Breakdown!—she couldn’t see well, save for the dangling cord.

Encouraged by the smile (and already so inclined) Sam came closer, grinning as she saw what it was the mech held---and grinning a bit brighter as she recognized his voice.

"A TV! Though, uh." She caught herself, looking almost apologetic. "That's the slang, just short for 'television,' and it was first a 'television set.' Sometimes you hear 'TV set,' but not too often. Slang is a mess."
