Ah the knock of someone with their hands full; Lea would know it anywhere. "Just a sec,' he called before opening the door to let Sam in. "Hey Sam, good to see you. And Merry Christmas. The food and stuff's over there; I left a space that should hopefully be big enough."
He indicated the kitchen table which was covered with various platters and bowls of food, though very little of it traditionally Christmasy. About the only thing that could really be counted as such was a large plate of cookies. Otherwise there were sushi-rolls, meatloaf, pasta shells in cheese, boneless chicken wings (with three dipping sauces- honey mustard, BBQ, and spicy buffalo, which knowing Lea is probably best avoided by anyone but him), curly fries, and what looked like curry rice with veggies.
"There's ice cream too, but that's in the freezer yet," Lea said. "It'd melt if I sat it out before we were ready for it."
