Totally not a date.

Who: Elsa and Lea (closed)
When: Just after this thread
Where: The restaurant in Haven
What: Catching up and getting something to eat
Warnings: Probably none, unless you count excessive levels of adorkable

The restaurant wasn't especially fancy but it was nice. Casual, family style dining, one would probably call it.  Some kind of light jazz or similar music played quietly over the PA in the background, enough to provide atmosphere, but not really enough to be especially noticeable unless one was paying attention to it.

And Lea was currently not paying attention to it. No, his attention was divided between the menu- that spicy chicken thing looked good, but then there was that burger- and the woman sitting across from him. Right now, Elsa was winning out. They'd been seated in a corner booth, with a window  to one side of them, looking out on the street outside. "So...", Lea asked her. "What do you think looks good?"

"I don't think I could lie to you." she says, rather seriously, and with a priceless expression.

"I haven't heard of any of these things in my entire life." Setting down her menu, she looks...rather perplexed. Almost apologetic. Hiding her hands and simply leaning over to peruse the jumbles of words again, she's almost ready to call it quits and settle with just tea.

"I'm not sure I'm all that hungry, to be terribly honest." And by honest she means modest.
