Predaking still wasn't sure what to make of this place, as a whole, but he was slowly growing more comfortable with the differences and similarities to the Cybertron he knew. Sure, he missed his kin and he even found himself missing the Autobots that weren't present here, the ones that he had come to respect, but there were individuals here that had made him feel welcome; that had treated him like more than a monster.

And for that, he was grateful.

It was one of the many occasions that the beast king had been out flying that he found himself crossing over the Eastern ruins, the dragon circling a few times before tucking his wings and spiraling downward, landing not far from one of the bridges. His gaze swept over the area then the bridge himself, lingering there as he felt an odd air about the place.

An old air.

His tail lashed and he tucked his wings as he opted to stick to the ground for the time being, slowly making his way away from the bridge to explore further, though wary of the misma where it lurked as he went.

The familiar voice had the beast king perking up some as he turned to greet the other, transforming rather swiftly to be on more even ground with the gentle mech.

"Wing," Predaking greeted, reaching out to grasp the other's hand and give it a firm shake. Even in his bot mode, the beast king still towered over the other but he made a point to relax his posture, attempting to seem less intimidating.

After all, Wing was one of the mechs in this place that interested him most.

"It is good to see you as well. What brings you out this way?"

Wing appreciated the change, and the readily accepted handshake. His smile grew. Predaking was big, but Wing didn't find him at all intimidating; he had no reason to be intimidated. He finds it rather endearing that the great mech is trying to make himself less intimidating.

He ventrd a soft sigh, smile fading only a touch as he looked out over the ruins. "Me? Memories, and thoughts of the future. What about you?"

"Perhaps a bit of both myself," the beast king said solemnly, letting his hand fall back to his side as he studied the mech before. "There..is something that troubles you."

It wasn't hard to see, even for someone like Predaking who was still learning how to interact and read others.

"Are you unwell?"

"I am well. A lot has happened here. There are a number of us who had been in this city before. It was vastly different then. We faced Unicron himself, the destroyer, and wih the help of First Forged we prevailed. We were given a choice then. Some chose to return to their worlds, others to stay and continue building our newly awakened planet.

"But something happened. The rift that would send people home exploded and a few of us found ourselves far in the future. And then there was Galos."

Wing points out an area that looks more recently collapsed than anything else. "He was one of the Guardians here, but he betrayed us, captured some of his fellows and some of the citizens and used means I do not fully understand to siphon power from Unicron. What was done to stop him does not set well with me...nor does the fact that to take Power from Unicron means Unicron must still live. We also do not know Galos's fate. We've not seen him since the battle ended "

He sighs and looks back up at Predaking. "So yes, I am well, but I also have a lot on my mind."

Predaking is quiet as he listens to the other's tale, optics dimming some in a thoughtful manner. He's familiar with the feeling of losing a home, of being taken to the brink of everything you know and he can't help but feel a sort of kinship with Wing over it. This mech, and probably many others here, know what it's like to lose everything.

And because of that, Predaking feels more inclined than ever to help.

"I can imagine that you would, my friend," the beast king replied softly, hesitating only a moment before he reached out to rest a hand on the other's shoulder. "Your time..with this place, and the place before, has not been an easy one, I can tell."

Wing smiles and reaches up to cover the hand on his shoulder, giving the beast king's hand an appreciative squeeze before dropping his own. Predaking is welcome to leave his hand on Wing's shoulder.

"Being here is a second chance I am grateful to have, but it certainly hasn't been easy."

And the beast king does, for the moment at least.

"Most things rarely are. I am familiar with these...second chances you speak of, for my brethren and I were granted such a thing," he said sincerely, dipping his head slightly as his optics dimmed. "Even if it is hard, it is worth it from what I have seen. Always worth it."

Wing smiles up at Predaking again. "I'm glad you were given a second chance. It is always worth having." Yes, yes, he very much agrees with that.

He looks back out over the canyon again, then then back up a Predaking, smile wider now. "Would you like to fly with me?"

His optics flicker and a grin appears on the predacon's face, an expression he was becoming more and more use to using as he found himself in the company of...friends.

"It would be my honor and pleasure," he rumbled, nodding his head to Wing before he shifted backwards and transformed, wings spreading as a glow lit up his chest. "Lead the way, my friend."

Wing's grin because bright and happy. With a nod he leaps up, transforming to shoot off into the open air above the canyon. He's highly aware of where Predaking might be, not wanting to leave the other behind, not wanting to be the one left behind.

As soon as the other takes to the air, Predaking pushes off the ground with a hard flap of his wings, climbing higher and higher. Once high enough, his wings spread and he falls into a glide, veering towards where his companion as ended up to follow after him.

Wing circles around, looping back to meet Predaking in the air. He'll come up close by the larger mech's chest, spiraling in the air in a playful manner.

The dragon can't help the happy rumble that escapes him and he's soon dipping and spiraling downward, getting underneath Wing before giving a hard flap to send himself upward once more.

How long had it been since he was just able to fly with another being without worrying about a war?

Wing rises with Predaking, staying inches from the other as they go up together. He'll dance with the other, playing as they soar through the air together. "You have a unique and beautiful method of flight, my friend."
