It is not time for mirth and laughter
Who: Elsa and Sam.
What: A social call, the morning after the bonfire party.
When: Mid-morning.
Where: Elsa's apartment.
Warnings: Probably a little language.
Sam had a decent education, having spent three pretty productive years at the University of Alberta. She'd studied, she'd socialized, and she'd participated in every karaoke event on or in earshot of campus from week one... so she knew there were certain things to be done---not out of duty, but decency---following... festivities.
Checking up on anyone who had been especially uninhibited was just one of those things. Someone had to ensure the people in need were properly provisioned; without parents present, it fell to friends, and so Sam knocked at the door to Elsa's apartment.
"Hello?"
The adept shifted the bag she'd brought to her other hand and knocked again, insistent.
"Anybody up?"
