Jendayi has been driven from the house and separated from Woo, her faithful drone. Those frightful explosions seem to be after her! She ducked into places to hide, only to be rushd out again at the heat and bang so near her. Wh-where was Lea?!

On the edge of tears she keeps moving looking for anywhere or anyone that might offer shelter, or at least company.

Y'know going out on patrol and suddenly EVERYTHING IS EXPLODING might make for a pretty cool story, but it sure is a pain in the ass while it's happening. Still, Gunmax thinks he's a badass, so here he is, outside riding Gunbike and making sure nobody gets caught out in whatever the hell this is supposed to be. He just so happens to spot Jendayi and pulls his bike up next to her.

"Are you nuts, runnin' around out here like this? Lemmie give you a ride."

He'd had good luck avoiding getting KABOOMED so far, so hey.

"They're chasing me!" There is muc distress in her voice as she scrambles to him. She didn't know him and she didn't care. He was offering safety.

Yeah they're kinda chasing everyone buuut he's not going to say that. Poor kid's already freaked out enough. He pops the sidecar on the bike open. It's tiny and people sized how and even has a tiny human sized helmet how neat.

He doesn't have to tell her twice! She scrambles in awkwardly, and about slips to the floor rather than staying up in the seat. Give her a moment, Gunmax, she just needs to deal before she can pull herself up properly and put that helmet on.

Gunmax takes off as soon as she's in the side car, but he's sure to drive carefully until she gets settled in. And yeah shit's still exploding what is WITH THIS SHIT.

She’s trying to get that helmet on her head. It’s a little big, but also awkward thanks to her ears, so she’s got her arms hugged over the top of it to keep it on. “D-do you know who’s doing this?”

And...for now, seems to get her wish. The explosions slow down...and then stop completely. She’ll finally uncurl to look around.

How NICE of everything to stop exploding. Frankly, it makes Gunmax a little uneasy, but he does slow down some. Mostly so the kid has a chance to calm down a bit, driving this fast is probably scary for her too you never know.
