Welcome to a New World [Open Log]
WHO: Everyone involved in Game Start
WHAT: Waking up after the explosion
WHERE: Well . . . that's for you guys to figure out, isn't it?
WHEN: Now
WARNINGS: None but what you bring with you
NOTES: Be sure to reply in your respective group thread.
At first, there is nothing. Without warning, agony erupts – a twisting, burning sensation that leaves you sure you’re about to be torn apart, but then it subsides to a sharp ache. The nothingness has taken on a purple-black appearance, shifting and flowing around you.
You’re lying on your back, and the pressure is immense. If you breathe, you feel like you’re suffocating. You struggle to sit up, to get the pressure off you. You strain and fight . . . and suddenly the mists flow off and away, taking the pressure with them. You sit up and look around.
You’re not in Kansas anymore.
Misty purple-black “bubbles” on the ground around you burst and flow off from other bodies, disappearing down into the ground and revealing familiar faces.
Wherever you are, at least you’re not here alone.

He was glad to get up, though, even if it hurt. And was even more grateful to lean on Knock Out. Owowowow...
no subject
And to answer the last question he looked at Knock Out and shrugged. "I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the First Forged."
no subject
"And you know, the First Forged?", he said. "Really big mechs, semi-cosmic powers, like building temples in their own names and not fond of giving straight answers? If this is Cybertron you must've at least heard of them. Not like such huge-ass bots could just disappear."
no subject
He was glad to know that they were in fact in Cybertron, not so much to discover the FirstForged were gone. "It wouldn't be the first time they disappeared. We can keep discussing this while we talk."
He gave Lea, Galos and the drones an impatient look: Hello, I have an injured patient here that needs fixing! it seemed to convey.
no subject
Wing gave him an appreciative smile and a nod.

He gives them a small bow and will turn. "This way, friends, I'll show you to the Gateway."
And so he'd lead the way. The "Gateway" is a large ring of metal built on the edge of a clearing. He steps up to it and touches a few things on a computer panel and the ring comes alive with swirling blue-white light.
"This is set to take us to right outside the Hospital." If they pay attention, they may spot "Bulkhead" inscribed along one edge.
no subject
While Galos fiddled with the controls, Lea examined the ring itself, and in doing so, spotted something unexpected. "Hey," he asked Galos, "how come this thing has Bulkhead's name on it?" He indicated the inscription, in case no one else had spotted it.
no subject
"Cybertron shouldn't have trees. It's not made to sustain that sort of organic life. So what happened here?"
When he sees the gateway the medic narrowea his eyes. It's obviously some sort of ground bridge but he's never seen one who looked like that. "What? His name?"
no subject
As he's putting in the orders on the Gateway's panel Lea asks his question. He leans over to see what Lea is referring to. "Oh, that? Our chief engineer put that on there. Some sort of brand name I always figured. You'd have to ask him, though."
And now the Gateway opens. "This way." He'll walk though without hesitation.
If the others follow they'll find themselves in the city, houses and apartments surround them, and a large building across the street is the Hospital.
no subject
Sure enough, that says Bulkhead...but why? He fully intended to find this "chief engineer" to ask once his wing was fixed up.
no subject
Once on the other side, he found himself in the middle of a city, surrounded by buildings. One of them was clearly the hospital, but he wasn't badly enough off to really need that. "Interesting...", he said, looking around and finally dismissing his Keyblade.
Turning to Galos, he said, "Well, given that we'll probably be here awhile, any idea where I can find a place to stay? I'm not bad enough off to need a hospital, but I would like to get cleaned up a bit."
no subject
He stopped listening to their conversation, he stopped moving. He just looked around in wonder but with a small frown on his face.

"Oh! And before I forget. You may wish to take your pick of a drone. They're for communication mostly, and handy for keeping up on things going on in the city." He motions at the gaggle of hovering discs behind him.
