Meet the Medic [Open Log]
Who: The city's medic and mechanic...and all those who want their injuries tended.
What: The city medic doing what he can for all the new arrivals who've just been through an explosion.
Where: Hospital, located in the Northwest of the city
When: Shortly after arrival. Galos will bring everyone to the city, and show the injured to the hospital. The good medic here will care for any who come in. Don't worry, he can care for Cybertronians too.
Warnings: Only what your characters bring with them.
The hospital is quite large, located in the midst of various houses and apartments. One side is clearly designed for the organic residence, with nice sliding doors opening into a foyer and waiting area. Halls stretch off to the right to various exam rooms where the resident doctor and his apprentices can check on the sick. Down another hall are hospital rooms for those who require an extended stay.
The other side is designed for the robotic residents. The front part is a large garage, which leads to a waiting area. Past that are repair bays with with tables, each repair bay is stocked with tools. The mechanic teams range from human to Cybertronian.
Whether organic or robotic, all those who come to the hospital will see the Paian, the head medic and mechanic.
Paian looked to be nothing more than a normal human plucked out of some Victorian era, steampunk world. Large green goggled hung around his neck and large leather gloves were tucked behind a wide belt. There's nothing really fancy about his dress, he's dressed to work. He's a big guy, and a no-nonsense doctor. Those who come to see him may not his worried frown as he ushers them back to get settled where he can start to work to take care of those injuries.

Paian waved a dismissive hand, though. "Look, you'd not be indebted to me. What supplies would be needed would be minimal, and the time for repairs would be less than you're used to." He hesitated.
"And I'm afraid they'd not be as complete as usual either. There's something...unsettling the balance of this place, I'd be surprised if your ARS is working at all right now; bodies just aren't healing as they should." This...was clearly something that bothered him, a lot, though he was putting on a good face for it.

"What do you mean, bodies aren't healing as they should? This is a medbay, isn't it?"

"Any leads yet? Who's in charge of investigating possible causes?"
Yes, he wanted his wing reattached ASAP...but if it wasn't going to do any actual good, might as well concentrate on what WILL first.

Paian pulls a breath and sighs. "Look, I'm not looking to frighten or upset people, but I also feel it's right to let people know what's going on, especially in this instance. You've come for repairs, and while I can do a lot for you, you're injuries are severe, and so I can't promise much more than being able to reattach your wing, maybe even enough that you can fly if you're careful. Why is this happening? I don't know, but I hope to find out. Unfortunately I don't have the time or luxury to go hunting after clues myself, I've got a hospital to run, and patients in need of what care I'm able to give."
Threadjacking a bit so Jade and TC can reunite. X3
He was about to bid Paian goodbye, when he noticed that the human medic wasn't alone. And that the mech he was talking with was a familiar face in more ways than one. "Thundercracker?"
TRINE BRO!!! 8D
He shifted, grimacing in pain as shredded, raw wires and connections hanging loose from his wing moorings flopped around with the motion. But then, the sight was worth the pain.
"Jadewing!" Pit, he didn't know if he'd ever been happier to see the younger Seeker. But then another thought occurred to him. "Did you just come from Haven, through an explosion in the Lambda?" If this was "his" Jadewing, that would make sense. If not . . . well . . .
ALSO TRINE BRO! :D
He was quick to nod in confirmation of his identity though, and even smiled slightly at the question, recognizing it for what it was. "Yeah," he said, approaching to a more comfortable conversational distance. "Though apparently I got off easier than you did; at least my wing was still attached. The frag happened to you?"
The news that they were apparently still in Haven could wait a moment. Right now, Thundercracker was more important.
UGH SELF are we really back to this already??? [just noticing how much time has passed since-]
((ooc: - tagging last. OTL))
Thundercracker grimaced again, this time at the question, and thumbed over his (wingless) shoulder at the giant motorcycle against the wall, his wing still propped in the sidecar. "Gunmax's bike."
And? Frag his dignity. He closed the rest of the distance, restraining himself to just put his hands on Jadewing's shoulders . . . when what he wanted to do was HUG the younger Seeker. "It's good to see you. At least part of our trine made it." He'd already lost one trine - as had Jadewing - he didn't care to lose a second, especially not so soon.
Sokay. XD
Which was a weird coincidence, honestly, but he didn't have much time to think about it as about then Thundercracker stepped forward to clasp his shoulders. He was clearly restraining himself from hugging outright (probably a good idea, considering his injury), but Jadewing found that he didn't mind one bit, a genuine smile, spreading across his face.
He returned Thundercracker's gesture, mindful of the blue Seeker's injury. "Good to see you too," Jadewing said sincerely.
"There's more of us from before here, though I don't know how many," he said. "I arrived with Deckard and that human with ice powers. And I caught a transmission from that huge-chinned, blue glitch-head who calls himself a Prime over the comms. They're the only ones I encountered before coming here, though."

"What about you? Are you all right? Aside from your wing?" Seemed they were both grounded until the cause of the lack of healing could be uncovered. Frag. Maybe they could go find a bar and get sloshed as a poor substitute for flying.

"Good to know more of our trinemates made it, though," he said. He wondered if it would ever stop being weird calling a groundpunder- even a fast one, like Blurr- trine. "And I figured Rose was here." He frowned. "It was her motorcycle that hit me."
"Aside from my wing?", he said. "Thoroughly irritated at a certain bunch of demigods who claimed to know what the frag they were doing, among numerous other things, but I'll live. Medic here does good work, for all his capabilities are limited at the moment."

The ONLY reason it wasn't at all weird to Thundercracker to call Blurr "trine" was that he'd been calling him "close friend" for so long. He'd certainly acknowledge how unusual it was, though. Then again, it was exceedingly unusual for a groundpounder to fly, which Blurr also did, thanks to one of his boons.
He frowned, nodding, at the reference to the First-forged. "Yeah . . . gotta wonder if it's something they did, or . . . I don't know, I almost wonder if Unicron was as gone as we all thought." He grunted. "As close to that explosion as they were, I wonder if they even survived…"
