Meet the Medic [Open Log]
Who: The city's medic and mechanic...and all those who want their injuries tended.
What: The city medic doing what he can for all the new arrivals who've just been through an explosion.
Where: Hospital, located in the Northwest of the city
When: Shortly after arrival. Galos will bring everyone to the city, and show the injured to the hospital. The good medic here will care for any who come in. Don't worry, he can care for Cybertronians too.
Warnings: Only what your characters bring with them.
The hospital is quite large, located in the midst of various houses and apartments. One side is clearly designed for the organic residence, with nice sliding doors opening into a foyer and waiting area. Halls stretch off to the right to various exam rooms where the resident doctor and his apprentices can check on the sick. Down another hall are hospital rooms for those who require an extended stay.
The other side is designed for the robotic residents. The front part is a large garage, which leads to a waiting area. Past that are repair bays with with tables, each repair bay is stocked with tools. The mechanic teams range from human to Cybertronian.
Whether organic or robotic, all those who come to the hospital will see the Paian, the head medic and mechanic.
Paian looked to be nothing more than a normal human plucked out of some Victorian era, steampunk world. Large green goggled hung around his neck and large leather gloves were tucked behind a wide belt. There's nothing really fancy about his dress, he's dressed to work. He's a big guy, and a no-nonsense doctor. Those who come to see him may not his worried frown as he ushers them back to get settled where he can start to work to take care of those injuries.

He comes in and looks around in confusion until hsi eyes fall on the organic.] UHhh...is there any cybertronian medic around? Ratchet, perhaps?
no subject
Please, come have a seat on one of the tables.
no subject
Have you been here for long?
no subject
[His smile softened even more] Near about five hundred years.
[He stepped up to Blurr, motioning for him to sit on the floor.] Relax mech, you're going to be all right.

But an hospital was sometime he was familiar with and thus he decided to investigate it. Knock Out trotted inside the room as if the place belonged to him.]
no subject
Welcome. [He approached.] Something I can help you with?
no subject
Perhaps, yes. Who's the mech in charge of this place?

He glanced around, looking for the medic, but spotted only a human. Well, he might know where the Cybertronian medic was anyway. Jadewing dripped his way over to the human.]
Where can I find a Cybertronian medic?
no subject
[The human waved Jadewing to come in and motioned to one of the repair bays.] Go lie down...looks like I need to find something to melt that ice.
no subject
Still, there wasn't anything for it. And if millions of years of war had taught him one thing it was to stay in the local medic's good record as much as possible.
So he simply nodded and headed for the nearest medberth with a minimum of grumbling. He did feel the need to explain the unorthodox patch job, though as he sat down on it.]
Human I woke up with has ice powers. Had to brace the wing somehow til I could get it repaired, and options were kind of limited.
[With that, he shifted to lay down on his front, moving gingerly and trying not to show it when certain motions caused the damage to his left side to twinge painfully.]
no subject
Mn. They did a good thing for you, it's kept the damage from getting worse. [He got a hose and climbed a scaffolding and turned it on. The stream is just a gentle flow of warm water. It'll take a little while, but it shouldn't cause any more pain. He'll stop before the ice is completely melted through, not wanting to spray water directly into the raw relays.]

I will let you decide if Jade is able to fly. If he can, it'll hurt.
I'm gonna say yeah, but only in robot mode. He doesn't trust that repair to hold up to transforming.

possibly after decking him, just on principle. His gaze darted all around, body tense, wing - yes, singular, the one still attached - riding high on his back. This was an unfamiliar place with far too many unfamiliar people in it for his liking, especially feeling vulnerable like he was.
He didn't like this. He didn't like this one bit.

Excuse him while he scowls. He has friends who are organic. That isn't going to stop him from being SUPER GRUMPY when he's in pain and ...rather humiliated like this.
"What do you want for your services, medic?"

This area is for personnel only, you know?

Your point?
[Is she nice enough to web down to his level? Right now, yes. Consider yourself lucky primate. She lets go of the ceiling and switches to her regular mode mid fall and lands easily on her feet in a crouch. Moments later she's standing up and surprisingly, a little taller than the average human. Maybe six or seven feet.]
Just who are you anyway.

Peering in and out of rooms, she's looked for him, but haha, she hasn't found a thing.
Yeah, she can't stand looking like she's only in the way of things. She'll be flagging down the nearest person her size as soon as possible.
"Excuse me? Please, I'm looking for a rather---larger, green robot. I wanted to know if he was....going to be alright?"

"I was just wondering---" How did you melt that ice? The vicious cycle of panic turning into eternal winter was broken, but still, she must've been way more at ease now than she thought.
"Is he alright? Well, obviously, he's...alright, is he, err, recovering?" She's not sure of the Cybertronian lingo here.
